With an insane amount of uplighting to case enormous shadows on the back wall, every move the characters make is intensified for this intensely dramatic musical.  This also adds to the comedically dramatized horror, with the angles getting even steeper in every scene.  The scene changes are told through the angles and the acting, as opposed to any color changes.  This is because color plays such a drastic story in this play, with the costumes and the scenery all matching the board game, and the lighting stays crisp and clear, as to not influence any color already on stage.
